About

Feeling overwhelmed with life? Lacking enjoyment with family? You can feel better, and I am here to help.

You may be carrying more than anyone realizes — navigating exhaustion, emotional overwhelm, anger, hair loss, guilt, stress, and the invisible weight that can come with postpartum and motherhood while continuing to care for those around you.

Rooted Postpartum offers a safe, supportive space for mothers seeking more intentional and whole-person care focused on healing, nourishment, emotional wellbeing, and restoration.

Natalie Marchione NP founder of Rooted Postpartum Care

Hi, I’m Natalie Marchione, a psychiatric nurse practitioner and Certified Postpartum Nutrition Specialist specializing in postpartum recovery, nourishment, and emotional wellness through telehealth in Maryland, Wyoming, and Washington DC. I created Rooted Postpartum from a deep desire to offer mothers a more intentional, restorative, and whole-person approach to emotional wellness during pregnancy and postpartum.

Throughout my work in women’s mental health, I repeatedly saw mothers struggling not only emotionally, but physically and mentally depleted — attempting to function while exhausted, undernourished, overstimulated, sleep deprived, and carrying the invisible weight of modern postpartum and motherhood with very little meaningful support.

Too often, mothers were told their struggles were simply “normal,” while deeper conversations around nourishment, recovery, nervous system health, lifestyle, stress, identity changes, and postpartum healing were overlooked or left unexplored.

While medication can absolutely play an important role in treatment, I often found myself wanting more space to look beyond symptoms alone and better understand the full picture of a mother’s wellbeing.

Rooted Postpartum was created to provide thoughtful, compassionate care that recognizes the profound connection between emotional wellness, physical recovery, nourishment, sleep, stress, and the cumulative effects of depletion throughout motherhood.

This practice was intentionally built to create space for mothers to feel heard, supported, educated, and cared for through a grounded and individualized approach to healing.

Fluffy White Clouds

Many mothers enter postpartum expecting to feel joyful and connected, only to find themselves exhausted, emotionally overwhelmed, overstimulated, anxious, disconnected, or unlike themselves in ways they never anticipated.

The demands of modern motherhood can leave little space for recovery, nourishment, rest, or support — even while mothers continue caring for everyone around them.

You are not failing, weak, or “doing motherhood wrong.” Often, mothers are trying to function from a place of profound depletion while carrying invisible emotional and physical burdens that were never meant to be managed alone.
